She also works in the simulation labs, assisting students to submerse themselves in skills practice and simulated events and scenarios.
Provost began her educational journey at Saint Vincent Hospital School of Nursing, where she received a nursing diploma. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Worcester State College (now Worcester State University) in 1998; and a master’s degree in nursing with a concentration in Education from Framingham State University in 2012.
The student should be actively engaged in their own learning. Students learn to use newly acquired knowledge to assist individuals to adapt to complex health care needs. Each student comes to the classroom with their own set of values and experiences. The development of competent, caring professionals who can operate in a continuously changing health care environment and the cultivation of a desire for lifelong learning and practice is very important.
