As a factory laborer, Mark dreamed of finding a more rewarding career. He was drawn to the Becker College Accelerated & Professional Studies Program for education licensure because of his desire to hone his academic discipline and refine his career pursuits.
Since graduating, Mark has taken his passion for performing music to a new level. He has toured the United States and Canada promoting independent releases, and developed a nonprofit organization that promotes and supports the arts in Massachusetts through a yearly grant-funded event (www.masswalkingtour.org). In addition, he works part-time as an interventionist in math and reading at a middle school.
“I have walked across Massachusetts, twice, and plan to do it again in 2012.”
