Adjunct Professor of Management
With more than 30 years in higher education and business, Edward A. Duprez Jr., MBA, has much to offer students in the Becker College business administration program. Since joining the College’s faculty in 1999, Duprez has served as director of the department of management and business and dean of the department of management and criminal justice. He has taught courses in international business, marketing management, principles of management, technology and society, and introduction to business, and has served on planning committees for the College’s bachelor in business administration and master of business administration programs.
Prior to his time at Becker College, Duprez taught undergraduate and graduate management courses at Northeastern University and Lesley University. He has served on the board of trustees at Mount Ida College and as chief administrative officer at the University of Southern Colorado. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration at Boston College and his MBA at Boston University.
Duprez’s business background includes his role as a principal member of a consulting group that provided strategic management recommendations and marketing research for colleges and universities, including: Regis University in Denver; the University of Southern Colorado; Rosemont College in Pennsylvania; the University of New Hampshire; and Lesley University and Mount Ida College in Massachusetts. He was also a longtime member of the National Association of Business Officials.
A world traveler, Duprez readily shares his international experiences with his students, providing a more global perspective to their studies. He also encourages them to develop a strong sense of integrity and emphasizes that lifelong learning and development is important for everyone, including college professors.
