Emma formed a strong bond with a beagle named Helix in the kennel at the College’s Lenfest Animal Health Center. She trained him to become a house pet for an entire school year, even teaching him to jump up and give her a high-five. Thanks to her dedication to Helix, he eventually found a home.
Emma chose the Becker College Laboratory Animal Management program because of her passion for the husbandry of animals and new discoveries in the science field. Her future plans include working as a husbandry specialist and opening a puppy day care business that offers obedience training.
Emma is active on campus, serving as the historian for the animal health club and being involved in the Student Government Association. She continues working in the College kennel, building relationships with other animals like she did with Helix.
