Kintzer earned her bachelor’s degree in animal science from the University of New Hampshire where her special area of interest was equine studies. She has worked throughout the veterinary profession as a behaviorist, dog obedience trainer, and as a large animal anesthesia technician at both Cornell University and Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine. Kintzer also has her own consulting business in animal behavior and training. At Becker College she teaches in the animal care, veterinary science, and equine studies programs.
