School of Animal Studies Curriculum

Becker College is well-known for its animal studies programs and for graduating focused, caring professionals who have gained practical experience in their field, on campus, and around the globe. Animal studies program students study on the Becker College Leicester Campus, and have also earned degree credit in Africa, Australia, and Mexico, or through their work in hometown veterinary clinics or animal shelters.

Becker College animal studies program graduates have gone on to veterinary schools and/or to work in a variety of settings, such as animal shelters, clinics, zoos, boarding kennels, stables, pet stores, and other animal environments. Specific jobs for Becker College animal studies graduates include veterinary assistant or technician, animal caretaker, groomers, kennel managers, animal breeders, and animal care technicians in the biotechnical field.
