After graduating from Becker College, Jen utilized her animal care and business management background to begin her pursuit of opening a K9 training and care facility. She completed a four-month program to become certified in narcotics and explosive detection and patrol dog functions for military and law enforcement K9s. She has used K9s to track a burglar suspect with the Gueydan Police in Vermillion Parish, Louisiana; searched lockers for narcotics at Kaplan High School in Louisiana; and searched for explosives at the entry gate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, ensuring the safety of game attendees. Her future plans include relocation to Alabama to work for a K9 company and possibly earn a degree in criminal justice to enhance her already extensive credentials.
