FYE Cultural Trips

As a part of the First Year Experience course, all students should plan on attending one cultural trip during their first semester. The purpose of the cultural trip is to:

  • Learn about culture and/or history outside of the classroom in a non-traditional setting
  • Encourage social and educational interaction with other first year students
  • Interact with faculty/staff outside of the classroom

Students will have the opportunity to select from a number of different trips (see below), and trip attendance will count toward the FYE course grade. Trips have been scheduled during the day, evening, and weekend, all at a variety of different times.  Many trips are offered more than once throughout the semester. The trips are free of charge, with transportation and food included. Please contact the director at sarah.mosier@becker.edu with any questions regarding the FYE trips.
