Colleges of Worcester Consortium

Becker College is a member of the Colleges of Worcester Consortium, Inc., an association of 12 Worcester-area colleges and universities that sponsor interlibrary loan services, social events, and a course cross-registration system to broaden course offerings.

Full-time Becker College students may take one course per semester free of charge at any other participating consortium institution, depending upon course availability. Additional fees may be charged for special programs, laboratory materials and supplies, and the determination of a course overload, which may require students to pay a course fee to their home institutions. The right to deny permission to carry a course overload is retained by each institution, based on its own requirements.

Catalogs and course schedules are available at the Office of the Registrar. Students must obtain a cross-registration form from the Office of the Registrar.

Transportation

A free consortium shuttle service is provided Monday-Friday, 7 a.m.- 7 p.m. The routes connect several member campuses (WPI, Becker, Assumption, Clark, Worcester State, and Holy Cross) with service to the Worcester Public Library, Union Station, and the Worcester Art Museum.
