Appeal of Grades

If a student believes a grade received was less than what it should have been, due to error or deliberate action, the student must appeal the grade in writing to the instructor within 10 days of receiving the grade.

Becker College has an appeal process under which the student appeal is successively reviewed by the concerned faculty member, the department chair, and the Student Affairs Committee, which gives its final recommendation, and the rationale for that recommendation, to the academic dean.

Official final grades are issued after the end of each semester (mid-term grades are provided as a progress report on InSite). Grades will be accessible on InSite after 8:00 p.m. on the day they are posted.

The College uses the four-point Grade System in computing cumulative grade point averages (CGPA).
