Common Data Set (CDS)
Becker’s Office of Institutional Research completes the common data set each January for external reporting. The Common Data Set (CDS) initiative is a collaborative effort among data providers in the higher education community and publishers as represented by the College Board, Peterson’s, and U.S. News & World Report. The combined goal of this collaboration is to improve the quality and accuracy of information provided to all involved in a student’s transition into higher education, as well as to reduce the reporting burden on data providers. The OER is a 3 page internal enrollment report with key statistics for decision-makers released in fall and spring.

The QF is a 2 page internal report with key statistics for decision-makers released in the fall.

Fact Book
Institutional Research publishes a Fact Book every November. First published in fall 2012, the Becker Fact Book aims to place consistent and accurate data in the hands of institutional decision-makers while providing a record of the college’s progress and characteristics.  The fact book provides extensive information on admissions, enrollment, academic programs, retention rates, graduation rates, degrees awarded, instructional activity, class size, financial aid awards, finance, and human resources.
