The Immigration Reform and Control Act (IRCA) is a federal law that requires new employees to complete INS Form I-9 and personally appear at the Office of Human Resources no later than three days following your date of hire with the completed form and required documentation relative to your being legally authorized for employment in the United States. Your payroll record will not be activated until your Form I-9 is completed. This law applies to everyone, citizen and noncitizen alike.
Offers of employment are contingent upon the results of a background screening, which is authorized and consented to by the applicant.
