Information Desk: Represent Becker College in important, high-visibility position in the lobby of the new campus center. Provide customer service, direct patrons to appropriate rooms/resources, and assist with special campus center or student affairs projects as assigned. Game Room: Monitor activity in the gaming area. Assure that all patrons sign in and out, and are using the facility and equipment in an appropriate and respectful manner; maintain an attractive facility by keeping it organized and clean. Fitness Center: Assist the Fitness and Wellness Programming Staff as needed. Monitor the check-in/check-out process, as well as appropriate use of fitness equipment and facility. Greet patrons, check materials in and out, shelve returned items, process periodicals, and perform clerical assistance as needed. Complete training provided; no experience is necessary. Operating hours for the Swan Library are: 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m., Monday - Thursday; 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Friday; and 2:00 - 6:00 p.m., Sunday. Two hours are allowed per shift; three shifts are allowed per week. Please notify Pamela Graham between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to arrange a brief interview. All students selected for work study are required to attend a mandatory training.
DRESS CODE: Library work study students represent the Becker College Libraries to all members of the community as well as prospective students and families. Appropriate dress is required. Becker clothing recommended and encouraged!

NOTE: These positions are for animal science students only.
Kennel Attendant: The kennel is located in the on-campus veterinary clinic on the Leicester Campus. Kennel work study students will care for the resident teaching dogs and cats. This position includes walking, exercising, and socializing teaching animals; observation and record keeping of animal health and behavior; cleaning animal runs and cages; completing daily and weekly kennel maintenance tasks; and ensuring USDA facility and animal care standards. This position requires some night, weekend, and holiday hours.
Grooming Assistant: Admit/discharge grooming pets, assist with pet handling/grooming, and perform general cleaning and equipment maintenance. Must have Tuesday and/or Thursday availability.
Clinical Assistant: Assist in all aspects of our on-campus veterinary clinic. Duties include but are not limited to: reception, record keeping/filing, cage cleaning, light housekeeping, dog walking, and pet restraint. This position does not require weekend or holiday hours.
Current Status: Accepting inquiries for all vet clinic positions. Applications can be obtained from Monday, August 29, through Tuesday, September 6, 2011, from 8:15 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the vet clinic reception area in the Lenfest Animal Health Center. Please bring evidence of work study acceptance through the Office of Financial Aid and a current class schedule. Students are added to our work study program on a first-come basis.
