The Leicester campus began as an academy in 1784 – the 19th oldest campus in the country. The Worcester campus was founded in 1887 by E.C.A. Becker. In 1974, Becker and Leicester partnered to expand academic offerings and provide broader social and recreational opportunities for their students. The two were formally consolidated in 1977 as the Worcester campus and Leicester campus of Becker College.
